Performa 475 and MacOS ...

I want to use a BlueSCSI with Wifi in the P475. I try MacOS 8.1 but the Dayna SCSILINK installer do not work right with the german MacOS 8.1

I try german 7.5.3 but it also do not work (see picture) ...

I have a Macintosh IIsi with this setup and System 7.1 and all works fine ...


What System OS with Dayna SCSILINK and the Performa 475 can I use ?
Is there a alternativ Dayna SCSILINK driver ?

You can use 7.1 on the 475 too, just needs the right system enabler to work.

Yes, I use 7.1 and 7.5.3 with the Classic AppleTalk and now the SCSILINK Wifi works ...

It works, but with very large files the computer freezes and the 40MB file loaded via FTP, for example, has 0kB. With smaller files everything works fine.

I was able to buy a PDS TP Ethernet card via the forum and I think I'm using that.

It’s a later version of the SSCI/link driver that I made a standalone installer for.
I wasn’t sure if it would work on non English system installs.
I’m not sure why you had issues with large ftp transfers though.

Regardless performance with a LC PDS card is going to much better then any scsi ethernet solution can be…
