I had to open my revived 190 after the hinge cracked last time I opened it two days ago.. I disassembled it completely, opened the display and removed the two metal hinges. They were almost completely stuck due to its age, then I pulled the two pieces apart and cleaned the stuff spring/ shim inside it.. after that I could move it a bit better.
So far so good, but the back case plastic posts that hold the base case and the inner frame together crumbled away. Nice 90s brittle plastics..Difficult to repair/ replace them because, so now I used two thinner, longer screws to be able to at least screw them together in the left plastic base..
