Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
I think they were all called "upgrade kits" (at least, I've never seen a 7.1 box that wasn't), presumably because it was for already operational Macs and not because it required a previous version of the operating system (since it didn't, natch).
That's even better than a reference -- what a cool find. I admittedly don't have retail system 7.1 -- just the 7.1 preloads from the Q840av and the LC520-or-550, and a retail 7.6, none of which had At Ease, if I remember correctly. (I have the packing list from the LC520 and from the LC520 lab kit somewhere.)
Woefully -- it doesn't list what's on "CD Install Me First" -- Another thing to add to my list of things to investigate at some point.
That was part of a massive (free) Mac software conquest back in 2009. I was finally able to upgrade my parents' SE SuperDrive from System 6 with that software package (I never bothered installing At Ease as I didn't have a use for it; the disks are still sealed in their original shrink-wrap).
Interesting info regarding the LC520. Perhaps we should begin a thread (or a wiki) dedicated solely to packing lists. It would be a great reference.
