It is my understanding that the web client is identical for both Pay-Pandora and Free-Pandora.
The ways to skirt this may include using X11 to access Pandora in Chrome or Firefox (with Gnash or an updated Adobe Flash) on a remote Linux box, or Remote Desktop Connection to access it on Windows, or to use a mobile device like an iPod Touch to stream Pandora. You could use a line cable to pipe it through your G4.
I read recently over in the Lounge that Spotify still has software that works on Mac OS X/PowerPC. I don't know if it will run on Tiger (to be honest, I bet it won't) but it should run on Leopard, and that should give you a few more months of streaming music.
That would be me. Only thing is I don't think you can get a copy from spotify anymore, if you already have it.... or find a way to get it... is the only way. But I can say it is still working.
Also, running 10.5.8 I can still use pandora. just tested it on my son's computer(iBook G4).
My son and I just compiled pianobar on an iMac G3 400MHz. It sounds great and only takes up between 5-15% of the cpu. Makes good use of those old Harmon Kardon speakers...

The last version of Spotify to support PPC will run on Tiger and above, I'm currently running it on my eMac 1Ghz which is running 10.4.11.
It pops up a warning at the top of the client that states that this platform will not be receiving any more updates, but it's been working for me for about a year now without any complaints on the two PPC Macs I've been running it on (The aforementioned eMac and a PowerBook G4 running Leopard).
