Original-look iomega zip disk OS installers.

Perhaps not so useful or reliable at the time, but putting fresh installs with installer images of the old OSs on zip disks (or other removable storage) when you have a couple hundred zip disks and a bunch of drives laying around is *really* convenient.

Working in print helps too, to give it a look that fits in...

Its gorgeous, thanks for sharing.

Probably the sort of work which can only be done with the appropriate material and software only.

Sure thing. The labels, set up for 60x50mm. I've yet to do an 8.1, 8.6 or 9.x though.

And the single zip jewel case insert; print and score/fold on the dotted lines. I used a 200gsm satin, though 170 would work a little more like the original Iomega inserts I have here.

Forgive any typos in the insert, I wanted to bang one out to see how it fit/felt, mostly. I'd bet they're in there. Also, images were taken from eBay auctions for the 7.1 personal upgrade kit, and are a bit rubbish :) .

Ideally I'd move some bits around to suit the visibility (or lack of) of parts of the back of the case too, but later.

Excellent! I might look into doing this, as I believe I have some Avery Zip labels somewhere....

Do you know what font you used (some variant of Apple Garamond, I'm assuming)?

Yeah, I just installed it on my machine, so I'm good there.

OK, I'll take a look at it. Someday soon....
