I was browsing through craigslist looking for an iBook G4 to have as a back up laptop, since original MacBook and MacBook Pro prices are still very high, and the iBooks weren't very different. So, I thought, 'Why not get all the parts I need to fix one, and look for one to fix later!' So I continued to search for iBooks, nothing within my budget, so I looked for parts that would be helpful, install discs, AirPort Extreme cards, etc. So while browsing, I came across a listing named just "software". I clicked in, and in the picture I instantly saw a Leopard install disc, that last version of OS X for PPC. I thought 'Why Not?' So I called, since there were about 20 discs pictured in the lot and was marked for $50. So I called, and asked to see if the Leopard disc was available, and it was. I offered $10, and she accepted.
While there, she said she thought the price was to high and threw in a few discs. I found a couple more I liked, and gave her an extra $5. The following are the CDs I got:
Mac OS X Leopard (Genuine Apple)
MacBook Pro Reinstall Discs (Gen. Apple, Pt. 1 and 2, marked with 10.4.8 )
iWork '06 disc with the Key Code (Gen. Apple)
AppleCare Protection Plan disc (Gen. Apple)
And finally, if anyone I know asks for a reinstall,
Windows XP Professional disc (Gen. Microsoft)
