Not Mac stuff, but...

I snagged a brand new SHRINKWRAPPED copy of Microsoft Learning DOS from eBay. Just won it tonight. $35 plus shipping. A little higher than what I wanted to pay for this but since it was probably the only copy of it left on the planet I splurged a little bit.

Wordperfect has a funky shell like TSR for switching apps on the fly - it generally gets along with anything console/text based. There's a computer chronicles where they demo it I think.

It's a pretty nice word processor - could use it even today (I think george r.r. martin does).

I haven't used 5.1 in years, but what I used to like about it was "Reveal Codes". That way you could see exactly where some goofy tab or something was.

It's a great high end word processor, I agree. I'm excited to be getting it!

I collect old DOS/Windows 3.1 era software for my old PCs.

Last item I snagged was norton desktop for windows 3.x (version 3).

Should have MS Visual c++ 1.5.2 coming soon (last 16 bit version).

Get deskview.

Gives you multiple DOS shells, a la *nix.

Someday I might build myself a 486 for some retro gaming action.
