Need...System...7!!!

hello macpeepls-

my copy of system 7.5.3 on floppy disk has been rendered unreadable by baby drool.

So, i was wondering if anyone would be willing to send along a copy of 7.5.3 so i can install it and use macintalk pro... any help would be greatly appreciated

I can send you a set of disks, but they will contain the files directly off of Apple's Old Software List. They will be Disk Image files and the first file is saved in both Binary Hex (.hqx) and Self-Extracting Archive (.sea) formats, as is. You'll need Stuffit Expander 4 and above to uncompress the files. Send me a private message (PM) and we'll talk more.

What Macintosh are you installing System 7.5.3 on?

Bear in mind that there are 19 files that make up the installer; 18 of them are segmented parts of the whole thing. Apple couldn't fit the entire installer on a handful of floppies, so they give you the option of copying all 19 files to your Mac's hard drive and you would open up all the segments at the same time to install. I guess Apple used a spare copy on CD and created the entire installer from that, segmenting each piece so it could be stored on

floppies.
