Need Help Identifying Macintosh Plus Upgrade Card

Hi, I need some help identifying this upgrade card attached to the 68000 cpu on my plus. It is connected to the cpu directly and has a separate psu. Also, can it be removed?

Since no one has made the joke yet, I will... That board is useless, if you send it to me I'll dispose of it for you. I'll even pay the postage. 😂

I don't recognize the board but it looks pretty neat. That 68030 is probably running at 25mhz, based on the 25mhz and 50mhz crystals.

Those types of boards generally clip over the stock CPU with a "Killy Clip" and are removable. You can probably wiggle the board a bit while lifting and the clip will come off. Be warned some of the original Killy clips are made of a plastic that becomes very brittle with age and may crack irreparably when you try to remove it.

Does it work? If so, I wouldn't bother removing it. Most of those boards need a driver to function at their fill speed. The GemStart driver on Macintosh Garden works with many accelerators of that era.

Those particular "warranty void" stickers are usually seen on Novy accelerators I think. Looks like maybe some version of the Novy Quik30?

It does work I think, retrobritinh and recapping the system right now… oh and I know it’s worth something good :)

Yup Novy it is, I finally found the logo half under one of the ram simms. Any idea what it might be worth?
I think in the $200-$300 range. SE accelerators are more common, Plus accelerators don't seem to come up for sale as often.
