Hi folks,
I have a Mystic CC (non-VGA upgraded) with of course the LC575 mainboard in it I've been using for a few months happily (OS7.1 with system enabler).
Today my eagerly awaited SCSI2SD 5.5 (the external one with the DB25 connector and software terminator) arrived, which I quickly upgraded the firmware, and then configured. I seemed to not have the settings completely right as I began to format it using Lido, when it hard locked while detecting the drives.
I rebooted with the SCSI2SD unplugged, and wasn't able to get it to POST as I hear the start chime, which is normally followed by a delay while it tests the ram (maxed out to 36mb) before it lights up the screen. Now it simply powers on, chimes, and then nothing.
I've attempted to zap the PRAM, I've reseated the mainboard in case my plugging and unplugging of the SCSI2SD loosened it and basically have hit a dead end.
Does anyone know if Lido can corrupt the PRAM? Am I correctly zapping it by holding command-option-P-R while pressing the power key?
What can I check next? How can I troubleshoot this? I'm quite heartbroken as I've really gotten into gaming and tinkering (see my other thread on writing and compiling software for it) in this lock down. It's been my lifeline.
Any help is heartily welcomed!
Jesse
