Are you in the wrong thread? What are you on about, anyway? :?: I was merely discussing the fact that the OP might have chosen the wrong PSU, and was advising him based upon what I know about the subject. If you can't add anything to the discussion, then please don't post.

Sigh. I can't believe I have possibly been compared to Britney Spears. :lol:

In any case it is possible the power suppy I have isn't the greatest, but I bought it because it was local, never used, and cheap. I think it cost $100 new so it wasn't a bad deal. We will see how it goes. And don't worry, if it does blow up I'll post pics here and we can all say I told you so...

Nice machine.

It reminds me of my Workstation at work. It's in an IBM ThinkCentre MicroATX case. MSI motherboard, Core2Duo, 2GB RAM, 6800, 160GB SATAII HD, Dual Layer Burner. I had to hack the power button cabling, but all is good. I went with a standard 480W Antec Earthwatts PSU that a friend gave me as a bachelors graduation gift.

Don't mind the others.
