The journey continues..
So over the last week I've done the following:
Recapped the SE/30's analog board
Replaced the SE/30's PSU with the seasonic. It now runs like a dream and its networking now functions again. That poor Sony power supply!!
Opened up two superdrives and sent their metal work for an ultrasonic bath and re-lubrication. They now work fantastically.
Moved the only sony PSU's guts into another SE/30 I'm donning the 'fixer upper' It now at least comes alive but has a strange logic board fault.
Swapped all of the megabolle's components over into one of my other SE/30 cases. There's a lot of missing bits on its old one and the weight of that machine now justifies a stronger housing so that's done.
Started to use inventorydifferent.. What a great solution! That's a whole journey in itself though.
Probed a bit more at the 128K logic board to little success.
Oh and bought a dram tester which seems great!
