I'm trying to connect my G4 to my new-to-me avocent KVM. It starts loading MacOS, then the screen blanks (loses sync I believe) right after the picture:
If I try and swap the monitor, it says it cannot sync.
I can boot the machine just fine when hooked up directly to the monitor (bypassing the KVM). If I do that, then hot swap in the KVM, it works fine, so I think it is somehow trying to change resolution to an invalid setting during boot?
Any tips?
