Trying to install MkLinux on a Daystar Genesis MP (with a mildly dodgy CPU2, but bleh - my understanding is that the installation/default kernel is single processor).
I've stuffed the mklinux boot files (the MkLinux control panel, the boot extension, the kernel, the settings files) in the appropriate places, set mach to boot with -v because I'm obssessive, and tried to run the installation. Mach runs, detects everything fine, loads stuff from the CD, then tries to chainload whatever it chainloads from the CD, which attempts to change video mode (?) and then I get a black screen and nothing else.
The only troubleshooting advice that touches on this in the instructions says to make sure you're in a 256 colour mode in MacOS. I am.
This occurs both with the DR3 ISO and the final RC ISO I could find.
What am I missing?
