Mini-Motherload of Electronics

CompuNurd

68000
I finally woke up really early today to look for electronics at garage sales. I make it clear to everyone that I am looking for old computers and consoles, but I will look at anything they have that is electronic. Being early paid off, and I came back with several motherboards, some game consoles, and a few laptops. I paid less than $60 for everything!

The Price List:

To make things easier, I will put the prices first.

$20 - 6 desktop motherboards

$12.50 - Purple GameBoy Color with many games

$10 - IBM ThinkPad T23 and Sony VAIO laptop

$5 - iBook G3

$5 - GameCube with accessories

$1 - Teal GameBoy Color

$53.50 - Total Paid

I might throw together some systems with the motherboards and sell them on eBay, I will sell the iBook here, part out the VAIO (bad logic board), sell the ThinkPad, sell the GameCube, then begin collecting every color of GameBoy! Of course, if anyone is interested in any of this stuff, feel free to shoot me a PM!

This is the first simi-decent haul I've had in a while. Most of the time I come back with one or two things. I got an iMac G3 once, but that was the only thing I got the entire day. Today I found a guy with a Commodore 128D and a dot matrix printer with it for $150, but I wasn't willing to spend that much today.

The T23 is a great, versatile laptop. The P3 era can run NT 3.51 through 7 comfortably.

You can appreciate how modern an old ThinkPad can feel, and how well they survive.

I'm actually interested in selling the ThinkPad. If you want it, make an offer. I haven't fully tested everything yet, but it appears the battery is dead and everything else works.
