Making IIgs system software disks?

Well first you have to D/L them. From apple's site. Now comes the part where you have transfer them on to 3.5 disks. An older Mac with a 3.5 drive would be one of the easy ways to do it.

You need to have the 6, 800k disks formatted in prodos. From there you can transfer the d/ls to them.

I take it that you are wanting to set up a HD on the IIgs? Not sure what software you already have. The IIgs can not see HFS with out the FTS installed. I just sent someone a boot disk so he could D/L on to HFS(800K) disks and the IIg could read them. I think I had to remove the printer drivers to make room on the disk.

A lot of People use ADT to transfer with a serial cable or null modem cable.

Take Care,
