I know there are
quite a few people on here who would gladly take an SE/30 off your hands! A good place to start might be to scroll through
the Trading Post threads; there was one recently, but I can't recall off the top of my head. Personally, I'm good for the moment, but even in what's called
simasimac state, that SE/30 would definitely find a good home with someone here.
It will most definitely need the capacitors replaced on the logic board, and the analog board capacitors as well, while it's out, so that's something to figure into how much it's worth. Other things to consider might be how much potential board damage there is, given the corrosive nature of electrolytic fluid over time.
Generally, I don't think there are any hard/fast rules for pricing. It's all up to you. They go for many greenbacks on ebay these days, but I can say that from what I've observed, folks on here generally are pretty good about not flipping when they've gotten a good deal. It's kind of a
gentlemen's agreement, but again, nothing hard and fast.
I'd look for a post, and maybe someone might find this one, and you can start a direct-message dialog with them on the value.
