Macintosh Portable 5126 1mb-->3mb Ram Card Hack

This is from the collection Hap and I just bought... These are weird memory cards that use the PDS slot... they are stackable... pretty cool...

I tried to upload pdf scans of the paperwork but it won't allow pdf's.. so I took a screenshot.. the screenshot's suck though..

Nope... It has 1MB onboard and the PDS slot memory that is 6MB... I can go up to 9 if I add another board.. Myth broken..

Still confused. What is the myth?

Per Apple the Max on the backlit is 8mb, 9 on the non-backlit. So unless you can get it to run with 10MB or more then I am not sure how the myth part plays into this. The stacked boards are no secret either.

Oh.. I was told you could only go up to 4 on the backlit... and I've got 7mb in there.. So I was just going on that 4MB max I was told... I just never seen one of these cards.. that's why I was flipping about it..
