Macintosh Plus no display, any ideas how to fix it?

Hello all,

I've read through this post and have a somewhat similar issue.  If this doesn’t belong here, I apologize in advance.  I’ve AM getting a signal from the analog board to the logic board, as you can see via the picture posted.  I now have two Mac Plus computers doing this exact same thing.  Here is my original post that I put on Reddit  a month ago:

Here’s the deal.

Macintosh Plus

Model M0001A

This unit was working just fine, last week.  Now when I try to boot (from the system disk), I get the smile face with a black screen around it.  I can hear the floppy working for about the same amount of time that it normally takes to boot the computer.  After it gets done making noise, I’m left with this screen and a quiet machine. This leads me to believe that something is wrong with the vertical board?

What I’ve determined:

I know the system disk is good, tried on another machine.

I know the floppy drive is good, swapped it to another machine and worked fine.

I have swapped out the mother board with another (I had) and I get the same results.  This leads me to believe that the problem is on the vertical board (I don’t know the name, sorry).

Any help would be appreciated.  I’m not a computer guru, just a guy who likes old Macs and tries to get them working again.  However, the computer WAS just working last week.  Thank you in advance.

SOLVED.

So, after thinking about it some more I started to swap out RAM and found out that I had a bad RAM stick. that was causing this problem.
