Macintosh Plus 1MB

I have come across a machine badged as a "Macintosh Plus 1MB" on the rear bucket, but with a 128/512k front bezel. I gather that there was a version of the Plus that was sold as an upgrade for owners of the earlier machines. They kept frame, front bezel, screen, etc. but got a new logic board and needed a new bucket because of the revised ports arrangement.

I haven't seen it yet, other than the attached photos (the one on the left). It is intact but said not to be working. If I pull the proverbial trigger, is it worth fixing/ keeping in this configuration or is it best used for parts? I suppose it is a rarity of a sort, but its pedigree is questionable, whereas I need a replacement screen for an SE, and there will be people wanting a replacement front bezel for a 128k, an analog board, etc.

Best kept if I get it, or best recycled to keep the thoroughbreds going? What do you think?
