Macintosh Performa 6300CD

I ordered this guy off of eBay last week and it came today! It's a 1996 Macintosh Performa 6300CD, made on April 16,1996 at 5:50 PM.

It has a PowerPC 603 Processor and 16MB of RAM. It needs a hard drive though. I got it for $30 so I'm pretty happy!



When I opened up the computer to get to the motherboard, this greeted me:

(Yes that's dirt.. like dirt from the ground) :-/

it actually didn't have a Maxwell in it, but a newer Rayovac :-/

Most performas ar pretty dirty like that.  The vents leading in should be pretty dirty also.  Pretty easy to take off but will stay cleaner that way.
