Macintosh Internet browser?

I got an SE/30 a little bit ago and got an ethernet pocket SCSI connector with it. I'm pretty sure I got it working but I need an internet browser. Does anyone have one? I'm running System 7.0.1

Do you have that in another file type? My mac disk writer doesn't accept that size

Sadly 90% of the web is enforced SSL so not sure what your going to browse? Maybe gopher. I have fun with that one from time to time.

The Ruby-language Legacy Proxy is good for circumventing the SSL.  I run it on a Raspberry Pi and browse the Web via Netscape 1.12 on my 6360.  I can't remember where I found it, unfortunately.

Google still works, and I'm able to access Wikipedia through Google's cached versions of articles. Still, it does not make for a very interactive browsing experience. I'm sure a middleman approach is the way to go for email and web access.

I want to get my se/30 networked and online but not managed it yet. I found with my 6200 PowerPc hardly any brower would work or access macintoshgarden with macOS 7.6, 8 or 8.1 until i put macOS 8.6 on it and upped the ram to 32mb then got Netscape 7 to work (very slowly) thats what I’ve been using to get software onto my se/30. I believe icab 2.99 will work on 7.5 onwards.

What's your set-up? Someone here recommended using an N300 (Netgear?) WiFi extender, and it works like a charm. You plug it into your outlet, configure it with the credentials to your WiFi network and connect it to your Mac via the built-in ethernet port. I never got Open Transport and DHCP to work, but you don't need to. I just grab a static IP address.

Yup. iCab 2.9.9 works on 7.5.

Yes got a WiFi extender and spliter for my mac corner. Haven’t managed to get my SE/30 on the network yet but have the network card in it, running 7.5.5 and open transport and icab but its not configured, i also haven’t got my rominator or extra ram to work properly yet so without the extra ram  there isn’t enough to open the browser lol. I do however have a 6200 PowerPc running 8.6 (Netscape 7) online which I’ve been using to get software from mac garden to my SE/30 but its very slow online so just purchased an imac g3 600 from ebay (not received yet), outside of that i have a few scsi zip drives a few external CD-ROMs, scanner, vacom drawing tablet and a gravis joystick all for the se/30 as i like doing graphic design on It and of course playing old games. Thats my setup, i have s few none working machines as well one LcII and a 1400 PowerBook which i need to look at as it did work and now doesn’t.

I finally got a Raspberry PI for procrastination purposes as I will be starting law school this fall. My question is: what's the best way to configure it as an SSL proxy so I can surf the web from my SE/30? Machead mentioned a Ruby script. I have heard stunnel mentioned repeatedly, but I take it that would be for  email access, which I'm not as interested in.
