techknight 68040 Nov 30, 2017 #3 there are a TON of things that can cause this. Flyback being one of them.
N nvdeynde 6502 Dec 4, 2017 #4 Given the floppy drive is disconnected, there's a good chance it's the flyback. Can you measure voltages on the +5v, +12v and -12v rail ? Otherwise just de-solder the flyback and try again.
