Macintosh Basic System Diagnostic Book

Anybody know if this book is of any value for the average compact Mac enthusiast?

I don't care about the book, but I would like a complete listing of the BASIC code mentioned in it for that Macintosh Diagnostic. It would be fun to run it and see what happens. But can an ancient MS BASIC program result in any useful diagnostic?
