macintosh, apple 2, and a image writer

I have a imagewriter1 and was wondering if i could share it between my apple 2c and macintosh plus.

Would an ethermac iprint LT adapter work. I believe it can link numerous macs with a printer via Ethernet/AppleTalk. Not sure if that extends to 2cs?
