Macintosh 512k/800 (M0001D)

Latest conguest turned out to be really nice one. Originally the eldery guy was selling 512k but it turned out to be 512k/800 (M0001D) later when he made some disks to go with the unit. Nice! The SCSI-port was added originally by the sales company. Came with original keyboard (with apple security lock), mouse and 3.5" external 800k drive.

Now really need to clean this baby up!

What are the easiest things to look for to know it is an 800K? I know the D after M0001, and there wouldn't be a red light in the FDD, anything else?

The elderly genteman who sold it, had two 512k/800 units, but wont be selling the another one. He even had 128k in a original carrying bag, very white and very good condition. We powered it up and it worked like new.

I really want such carrying bag, but at the moment not $150 worth as currently in ebay xx(

This i can not answer yet, i do not know. This was already an suprise to have 800k drive inside for us. Otherwise it looks stock 512k to me expect the SCSI-addition done to it before it was given to original buyer.
