MacEnhancer Powere Supply

I have a MacEnhacer from Microsoft that is missing the power supply. It has an uncommon connector. Anyony know where I can get a power supply for it? I also have the software & connecting cable.

I had always wanted one of these when I first got my 128K Mac but they were pricey. AFAIR they were discontinued when the Plus came out.

Perhaps not, but i do find it of particular interest that it uses the mini DIN-8 connector before Apple was even using it. That Bill Gates just stole everything he could get his hands on didn't he?

Aoresteen, the MacGeek article has a pretty good image of the power adapter. You should be able to pick something up at Radio Shack (or equiv.) and build your own plus, which appears to be similar to the mini-grounded adapter plug used on my Apple 300/1200 Modem power adapter.

How does that twisted logic work? A device uses a port before Apple but it was apparently stolen from Apple?

The DIN-8 connector was not invented by Apple and was common on alot of professional video equipment, particularly from Sony, long before Apple ever adopted it for serial ports.

Robarino, welcome to 68kMLA. I see your very first post here was the one you made in this thread. As such, you are not familiar with any of us here, nor Mac128. Sarcasm is nothing new to Mac128 (or myself), so you need not read anything more into it than that.

Getting back to the topic of this thread and the intent you originally had for coming here... Why are you looking for a MacEnhancer? (I am merely curious about the practical uses you intend for it.)

Just be sure you have enough desk space for it.

(Disclaimer: this last sentence is shamless sarcasm directed at the enormous size of Bill Gates "enhancer.")
