Mac SE Driver for Mobius Speedcreen se

Hi to all,

My name is Vincent,

I'm just searching Init and control panel for my Mobius speedscreen SE with a 68k 16Mhz builtin  but i didn't found anything on the Internet, How can i get to work this acceleartor board?

Thanks in Advance and My best regards.

Those old accelerator boards, I would say the control panels have been lost to time, unfortunately.   Best you can do is try other manufacturer's drivers for similar type boards and hope for the best.  Use something like tattletech to see if the board is being recognized and running at the proper speed.  I would think that the accelerator function should just work, but the external video, best of luck on that one.  If you have pictures of the board, it's possible that maybe it was produced for other companies and we could narrow down what might work for it.

I think I may have found something, but take it with a grain of salt: http://vintageapple.org/macdrivers/accel.shtml

Scroll down to the mobius section. Its kinda confusing, but maybe this is just what you are looking for. As joethezombie said, use tattletech to see what all is going on there.

EDIT: Based on looking at it more, it looks like it is for System 6. There appears to be a system 7.0.1 patch there too, but I would try this with system 6 first.

Good luck!

Most of the drivers for SE accelerators are interchangeable. The Mobius ones linked above should work on System 6 to 7.5. Sound will most probably be broken but this is normal. The patches are supposed to fix the sound issue to some extent.

It will be interesting to see if those drivers work. It seems to me those are for an '030 equipped version. Please do report back and let us know!
