I think the Wii U would make a better target! It has much better specs, but of course it's not nearly as ubiquitous. Regular Wiis are probably at about the lowest point right now and can be picked up for next to nothing.
I also wonder if Mac OS 8/9 could be ported. Would obviously fit into 64MB a lot better.
