I wonder if those Macs are even functional, certainly not the PB 100. Hope they were gutted before the artist set about his little "projects", there was certainly no reason to ruin a perfectly restorable one with all the damaged and yellowed cases out there. (Although the PB 100 is arguably useless as a laptop since the lead acid batteries are virtually non-replaceable).
Speaking of yellowing: time to buy some Platinum paint for that IIGS keyboard. Or start looking for a new one. ;-) Better yet, a Newton keyboard!
I actually have a pristine, virtually never used Newton keyboard. Perhaps when I have time, I will shoot a photo of that.
Yes, I am rather unhappy with the discoloration of that IIgs keyboard. It came with the SE/30 and that's why I originally bid on the system. But the owner clearly did no take care of it by keeping it out of UV light. I now have a keyboard cover over it, but the damage has been done. It also had some connectivity problems, forcing me to solder the connector contacts.
But despite the discoloration, I am not about to paint it!

I've never used the Newt Keyboard with the SE/30 before, only because the color doesn't match (you can see that the "little things" get to me).
Nevertheless, per your prodding, Mac128...
I first had to go through the hassle of hacking the driver that is required to use the Newt keyboard in the first place. This required ResEdit, per the instructions on the Newton Keyboard Enabler page. With that done, I was able to make the extension a standalone, faceless app that when double-clicked will allow use of the Newt keyboard. Worked great after that. It even works along side the IIgs keyboard, since the IIgs uses ADB whereas the Newt Keyboard uses the Modem port.
I shot a couple photos showing how the Newt Keyboard sizes up to the IIgs keyboard:

One more thing, I cannot use the Newton Keyboard with my PowerKey. The IIgs keyboard has a power key at the top that I can use to startup the computer. There is no means of doing the same with the Newton Keyboard because it requires a driver to load first. Sure is compact. But just not practical for me.
