LW 16/600 PS Problem

I got the paper to feed again by switching to multi-purpose but I have another problem now.

The printouts are filled with ghosting. There are lines and patterns plus the text near the middle seems to repeat itself throughout the page.

My gut tells me it's a bum toner cartridge, but do you folks think it could be something else?

Bum Toner Cartridge or the laser lens or the Laser Mirrors.

I repaired many...

I may hunt for a toner this weekend...if that doesn't solve it at least I'll have a spare....how hard are these lenses/mirrors to repair?

BTW: The toner has only about 200 pages on it but was sitting in storage from June 1997 until September 2007, maybe it got too old? This is my first vintage laser printer so I'm not as familiar with them as I am with ImageBangers and other printers.
