I finally bit the bullet and bought it.
There had been an LCIII+ listed on the Pittsburgh Craigslist every month since the spring. Since nobody wanted to give this poor guy a home, I decided I would.
It's a base model (4/80) with a coax card in its PDS slot. I was told it worked when fired up today, although the hard drive did evidently need to spin up a bit. (I'm guessing it's one of those quirky Quantums). It is curiously missing the little sticker badge that says "LCIII".
Not listed on the Craigslist page were a few extras. The most notable was a Macintosh Color Display (the 14" Trinitron). Also included were a pair of keyboards--one original Apple ADB and one Extended Keyboard II.
Given the extras and the fact this is a pretty solid Mac, I'd say it was worth the 25+ mile drive.
