Have been trying to fix a lc575 that someone else tried to recap and I'm STUCK. Apparently prior to this it was working however it came to me with a few ic's that appear to have been removed and then returned. The MEMCJR IC was one of these as it was missing some pads and not on properly and possibly touching multiple pads in 2 spots. I've since fixed all the pads the resoldered this ic on correctly.
Upon power up I get a start up chime and then nothing like the computer has frozen. I am unable to reboot the computer via the keyboard and the only option is to turn it off and on. Looking the address and data lines on the onboard ram I get what appears to be valid signals for about 6 seconds from startup before it all stops.
The board itself looks in good condition, no visible damage anywhere. I've checked all the traces between the CPU, MEMCJR, PRIMETIME, DRAM SIMM and onboard DRAM and found not one break. The board has also been recapped.
