LC III bought from MacG4 not working

Hi,

I bought an LCIII from MacG4 here on this forum. He told me the LC should work and has been tested, this can be true. But I have problems with it.

It was not booting, no staring sound, but the HD was snipping correctly. I realize that the PRAM battery slot was empty.

First, I bought PRAM batteries, and put one in it. Same result. Then I try reseting the PRAM (opt-cmd-P-R), but no help there. The starting sound, nothing on the screen, except a black one.

The mother board is quite plain: no extra RAM, no extra VRAM, etc. The speaker is connected. The fan spins too. No PDS card installed.

Any idea what could be wrong with it?

Thanks

well what type of monitor are u using it with??
The display is one that came with either a Mac II or IIsi era, since I got this monitor with one of them. The monitor is working well with my PM G3 beige and the IIsi and the Mac II. That display should work with the LC III too.

For the history, the specific model is M1297 Apple Color High Def Color RGB display. This one is working just fine with my IIsi, II, and my much more recent PowerMac beige G3. I dought the display is in cause here...

Any other help you can provide?
