Lc and lc ii question

I recapped my 13” high res monitors a long while back as well as my lc series computers (lc, lc2, lc 3 etc) the lc 3 works perfectly with the monitor but the lc and lcii dont show anything. They work fine with my 14” apple color display in other room. Why not with the high res?

Hires is fixed at 640x480 66hz so anything you feed it outside of that won't work.
