LC 475 PPC Upgrade

I've got a working LC 475 and as I recall when we bought it there was some promise of a future upgrade path to PPC.  Specifically, I seem to recall there being an Apple-provided upgrade path.

Is this a thing? If so, what are the options?

Like the Apple IIe Card for the LC, there was a PowerPC Card for the LC Series. I think it was either a 66, 75 0r 100MHz card; I forget which one it was but it was a 601PPC CPU. And there was a control panel for it to turn it on or off but you had to reboot every time to do the actual CPU switch from 68K <-> PPC. You could not switch CPUs and use it as needed you either had it running from power up or not.

It was a great card to get your feet wet on PowerPC Software and OS but it was not no Performance Hog. Due to the LC's limited Databus, it also limited the PowerPC Databus so it was somewhat crippled due to the LC design.

Edit: It was only for the LC 475 series.

Not as rare as one may think. In my original collection in the 90's I had 6 which 5 I gave away to my best students and kept one for myself. Now.... I can't find it. One day I will.
