LC 475 distorted/washed out video

Hi!

Just wondering if anyone has ever seen an LC 475 doing this:
(sorry, no idea why it ended up a short instead of a regular video).

From what I can understand (it's really hard to see) both the color and the image seem messed up (the overall idea of the image is there, but kinda blocky). But it may be a LUT problem.

I'm checking conductivity between all the pins of the Antelope (U18) chip and the places they should be wired up to (VRAM slots for the PD* pins, and whatever else for the others). So far I've checked 1 to 21 and all seems good, I'll continue tomorrow. I still didn't recap the board, I'm waiting for the caps to arrive (it should have been today but thanks to a strike and holiday tomorrow, I'll have to wait until Friday).

My two questions are:

1. Has anyone seen this and knows what the problem is?
2. How exactly is the image encoded when a LUT is present (aka, 8-bit color)? Which pins/signals have the pixel data, and which ones have the color info?
3. What voltage is supposed to be in the VAA* pins?

Thank you,

Miguel Arroz

EDIT: Forgot to mention, but yeah, I tried different VRAM, known to be working, same thing.
