One of my Kangas has a screen latch that seems to be broken. When you slide the latch it doesn’t spring back into the closed position. Do the springs on these things break? I’m assuming I have to disassemble the top cover to get to it.
Less so the spring fails, but the plastic pin that holds it in might have snapped. Taking apart the Kanga screen is relatively easy but like any LCD enclosure there are a few tricky tabs. If the spring is dicey you can probably source a replacement from a random retractable pen
