Yes it isWoah, is that one of the models in the Digital Personal Communicator line?
My family had two of them...one was a 1993 model, the other was a 1996 called "special edition".
Yeah it's pretty difficult lolBut isn't it difficult to grab it from up there to answer a call ?(Sorry ;p)
I want to get one of those, preferably a GSM version so it can actually work in the modern world.I personally prefer these.

Likewise with this thing. EDIT: hmm, no picture. :-/
The one pictured is the international 3200. IIRC, it's the first GSM brick phone.I want to get one of those, preferably a GSM version so it can actually work in the modern world.

Newfangled flappy paddle phone with no mike in the flipjigger? PFFT! This is a flip phone:

I had the high capacity battery on the phone, the standard battery with me as backup and the FatBack version in the glovebox with a handful of AA Batteries inside it.
Way better than the iPhone in terms of ergonomics and so light it floated on air. Didn't adopt cell tech for business use until I saw the DPC 500 at PC Expo. I bought the whole system then and there.![]()
p.s. NASAnut, if you're not going to edit your photos, you've gotta start holding your phone upside down in piccie mode.![]()
Also I do not appreciate being called NASAnutNewfangled flappy paddle phone with no mike in the flipjigger? PFFT! This is a flip phone:

I'm pretty sure that was playful banter...Also I do not appreciate being called NASAnut
It doesn't bother me a bit, but the advice to simply invert your iOS device when sapping a shot was a serious suggestion as a workaround.Unfortunately I can't edit photos on an iOS device sorry if that bothers you
