Issues with using both DuoDrive and Floppy Emu

Heyo,
Per the subject, I’ve run into an issue using both drive peripherals. I recently bought an Apple IIe and I have my floppy emu with APTEST to check the duodrive, but it seems the duodrive and the floppy emu share the same floppy port. Is there any way around this? Unfortunately, my emu is revision A, the first one, so I don’t get dual drive support. Thoughts?

Even if you could plug in both at once the interface only supports two drives. So a DuoDisk either wouldn’t work at all or only one drive would work.

The solution would be a second disk controller card so the FloppyEmu and the DuoDisk are in separate interfaces.

Bummer. Thanks anyways! Another question, is it possible to load an os into memory and remove the disk? I’m more familiar with msdos, just curious.
