Is there way to enter DOS mode through System GS?

I don't want to keep switching in the control panel to boot from disk and then switch back to boot from hard drive when there are certain disk only application or games to run. I want to make my Apple //gs like Mac 68k or Lisa in a sense it is 100% GUI system and whenever I need to enter dos I double click terminal icon or something that turn me into DOS and typing in DOS I type quit or exit to enter back to OS. Is there something like that? When I enter DOS I can type pr#5 or pr#6 to boot from disk then. Is that possible?

Thanks.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't clicking on the "BASIC" icon essentially give you a standard ProDos prompt? From there you can navigate to a floppy using the appropriate PREFIX/etc commands, or issue pr#'s, or whatever.

Apple DOS/PRODOS command reference:

Note that "Bye" should take you back to the Prodos command prompt.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT I WANT!! QUICK, TELL ME PLEASE WHERE I CAN GET IT!!!

- bites on his shirt - WITH THIS I can officially turn my Apple //gs into MAC! MAC! MAC! AHAHAH!! I don't have bother anymore going to control panel or not. All I have to do is wait for it to boot to system 6.0.4 first much like windows or any OS based system. I have to bite the bullet and wait for boot time. I can take it :D  In the GUI I double click BASIC which I will rename as Terminal instead. It will enter into basic mode from there I simply do what i need...and type bye to return back to System 6.0.4. System 6.0.4 will replace my default apple //gs basic...when this works as I hope it will...I will never ever ever ever boot directly from disk drive ever again!!! No more will I hear the disk drive noise as I power my Apple //gs. Everything will be silence. When ever i need to boot apple // game from 5.25" I have to boot from system 6.0.4, double click Terminal icon, wait for it to load...type pr#6 and boot from there!!!!!!!

AND I LOVE IT!! AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, please, please tell me where I can find that basic.system please!!! Is there way I can change the icon to look like basic screen icon!?

I would highly, highly recommend you do *not* rename your one and only copy of BASIC.System. I'm not going to guarantee that will break something, but I highly suspect it.

For kicks and giggles I tried duplicating it instead to the name "Terminal" and dragging that to the desktop, and launching the duplicate seems to work fine.

Thank you so much! So be it! Is there an icon editor for system 6.0.4? I want to make an icon for the new copy I will be making today and have it black with A> _ on the top left corner and rename it Terminal.system (of course it will be a copy of  basic.system) and put it in the desktop! This way, ones I get 4 MB of RAM arrive home it would allow me to double click that icon..and from there type pr#6 or pr#5 without trouble!

I also bid on TML Basic from ebay with  manual and disk...I intend to write some nice System 6.0.4 application and games :D  and play classical apple // games hahah!
