Interchangeable RAM?

I found info on KM41C1000AP-8 easily but am having a hard time finding anything on the Sanyo LC321000P-80

Does anyone know if LC321000P-80 and KM41C1000AP-8 are interchangeable?

I don't have a datasheet on the latter part, but a little more context might help folks make an educated guess...

About 25 years ago I needed some 1mb RAM and it was a little pricey.
A couple of years later I ran across a couple of PC cards that had what I believed were those type of chips. They sat in a drawer until recently when I wanted to replace some questionable RAM. I installed the Samsung RAM and it show up as all bad. I replaced it with the Sanyo RAM which worked perfectly. I’ve got a lot of the Samsung RAM and now I’m wondering if it’s a different type or if I have a lot of bad RAM.

From what I gather the Samsung KM41C1000AP-8 is 4M x 1Bit and it would appear the Sanyo LC321000P-80 is a 1M x 1Bit Dram chip, this chart ive attached might be helpful to some as it list a bunch of generally cross compatible (speed permitted) Dram parts that have much more accessible data sheets available on the web

Thanks
I have a lot of hardware that uses 1M x 1Bit Dram but I don't think I have anything that uses 4M x 1Bit and I have quite a few of them

My AE GS RAM Plus card uses Samsung KM41C1000P chips (note no "A"). At least some of the banks have them anyway. It appears that part is 1Mx1Bit while the "A" part is 4Mx1bit and much newer. The Sanyo chips appear to be 1Mx1 as well.
