I blew up my PB1400 LOL

I think I blew up my PB1400.

I found a bottom case assembly and got it all put together. Worked fine. But I decided to open battery recondition, and hit the button.

Well soon as I did the thing shut off NEVER to turn on again.

Removed battery removed power, pressed that reset on the back 50,000 times, tried holding, etc. No go.

Even removed PRAM batt and let it for a bit, tried the reset button again, No power.

hrrmphh...

Ugh. its logic board replacement time. I think the PMU is dead. I just dont understand it. Running a program and it dies. I guess its one "killer app"

Yea, and they look fine.

It was strange. it was working perfectly fine. literally as soon as I hit the recondition button on battery recondition, it shut off. poof, off. I figured i was going to get the junk battery a shot. Well I gave it a shot alright.

Soon as that happened, it never powered on again. I just got done swapping the logic board with my other one. Going to start assembling it and hope it powers back on. LOL.

Well so far with a logic board swap it works fine still. Slower than molasses, but hey it works.

I grabbed the old mainboard and attempted it again today, same thing, its just dead. I bet its expecting to see a working battery before itll power up, I dunno.
