Honda Accord 1997. 126,725 miles

You english and aussies.......
Why do you call it the wrong side? Is it that hard to say left side?
Cuz the majority of the world uses right hand drive, I'd guess.
It's actually only a small minority. Nothing really worth getting steamed up over, but RHD is probably very slightly better because most people are right handed.

Edit: as for GM, I'm looking forward to Australia getting the 'Vette in the next few years. Hopefully those plans are still on the table, and GM doesn't go into receivership!

Corvette's are for middle aged men in a mid life crisis. Thats why the majority of them are red...

But then again, aren't most sports cars?

Naw, it just works out that way, because who else can justify a car that just (barely) holds 2 adults and not much cargo? Your teen years don't count because there's usually the need for parental approval.

I was actually planning on buying a Vette as my second car, until I read about the problems that C4s tended to develop at 150-200Kmiles.

Probably a good thing, since I had 20K extra downpayment for the house.

What problems are those?

What ever middle aged man gets, old parts that need to be replaced but cost too much to be fixed. [:D] ]'>

Including me when I get that age [:)] ]'>

Been a few years since I've seriously looked into it, but from memory is was transmission needing a rebuild and the dash falling to pieces.

Actually, how long ARE auto trannies supposed to go between major overhauls? 150-200K miles seems pretty good to me. Not that I'd want to buy one with an auto trans in it.

It's the same L98 motor as the Camaro, so I'm wondering why there would be issues that are only present in the C4.

i remember hearing about crashes due to a pin breaking in the rear end of the first gen newer style vett. i would hope that they have long since solved that issue.

Only hippies care about safety, though.
