Help with OS 9 on late 2002 iBook 800mhz

Trying to get Classic support and OS 9 running on my late 2002 iBook g3 800mhz. I can't find the install discs with the extensions for classic.

Hi ! These days finding the actual discs are hard, but you can find the .dmg image files for your machine on macintoshgarden.org or archive.com. When you go on macintoshgarden.org, type in search original discs for iBook G3 800mhz.

Use this disk: http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=2109.0
You shouldn't need any special disk to install on that iBook. Make sure your hard drive has OS 9 drivers installed! You check this option during the format process, and without it, you will have detection issues. You may need to format.

Also, in general, you should edit a previous post instead of posting again (if you're new post is within the 45-minute edit window).

I need the original disks for it to actually work
Hi, provide me your mac model.. I will try to find it when I get off work this evening for you. If Macintosh Garden had my 1ghz Titanium G4 original discs, then they should also have the system you own too.

Late 2002 ibook g3 12' 800mhz ati radeon 7500 mobility, PowerBook 4,3

Used the image from Mac OS 9 lives now it won't boot again after a restart. Won't boot holding c or option with a CD.
Get an error in single user mode.

I remember there was an Apple recall on the optical drive on your iBook when it was new 2003? Apple said the replacement optical drive was more reliable, but it would not boot into OS9. Owners had to decide if the upgrade was worth it.
Do you know what optical drive is installed in your iBook?

No, I don't. I did get it to boot again after a pram reset and os 9 works now.
