Basilisk II works, but then again, it doesn't. I got a B&W G3 today, and although its not a 68K, it is lovely to be able to enjoy native Mac OS 9. Nothing beats real hardware! ;DActually, I've already got Basilisk II up and running. It's quite cool to be able to use all the classic Mac programs on my Linux box. Heck with the LaserWriter driver's ability to print to a file and Basilisk II's ability to read/write from the host computer, I can actually do useful work inside the Mac environment.
+1yeah, nothing beats silent worktime inside of Word 5.1 on a fanless computer...
If I may, the Quadra 650 is a great all-around Quadra. Mine has yet to fail me in any way in terms of performance. An SE/30 might be an option for me, but some of the stuff I want to do would really be happiest with something like a IIfx or a Quadra... As my odds of getting a IIfx are practically nil, a Quadra is my best bet.
I do plan on getting a classic Mac as soon as funds can be gathered, however.
