Hard Time seeing SE/30 Display

I've tried searching for my topic but, so far, no hits. I have my SE/30 and it's a great computer. The CRT is very sharp but I'm noticing that it's getting harder to see what's on the screen. My eyes are having a problem seeing the small display clearly. I'm not willing to give my SE/30 up as I have 22" and 24" displays for my PowerMac 6500 and Apple IIGSes. So, I'd like to take the SE/30 display video and convert it to HDMI but, as you know, there is no display port on the SE/30 to feed an external monitor.

I know video, H and V sync and ground are available on the power cable between the motherboard and the analog board. There are plenty of videos on how to do that, but I'm looking for something specific and less invasive. I'm looking for a 14-pin pass-through board for the power harness to plug into the motherboard's 14-pin connector. Ron's Computer has something like that already. On that pass-through board is a Raspberry PI to generate the HDMI (and voltage level converters 5v to 3.3v) and feed that out the back. A stereo audio cable would be connected to the pass-through board as well and go out to the back of the machine to the headphone connector so the HDMI feed would have stereo audio too if that's what you want. This mod has been added for SE and SE/30 MB for troubleshooting but not to get HDMI video out for improved sound and viewing. I also have a BlueSCSI connected to the back panel for SD card access so I can run the cables through that panel. Also, this mod doesn't physically modify the SE/30 in any way.

I haven't found anything like that yet but there are a couple of similar designs like on Ron's Computers. Is there something I'm missing?

Thank you,
Gerry Schultz
