I was given an SE/30 for Christmas that I'm now working on now (just waiting on some caps and I can put it back together).
I've seen some references to possibly being able to run greyscale on the internal monitor using a Radius Color Pivot IIsi, but unfortunately all the links (which go to this forum) seem to be dead, and I've had no luck digging them up with the search.
The threads I've seen referenced are "IIsiColorPivotII_PDS_Card_HackProject™" and "Techknight™ - SE/30 Greyscale MOD /w IIsi video card", as well as some references to a 'bobtail' mod to get the card to physically fit inside the SE/30's case. If someone can point me in the right direction for this (or even just tell me that it isn't actually possible), I'd really appreciate it.
