Generic Scanner TWAIN driver

Hi all,

I got hold of a great SCSI scanner from my workplace. It is a Fujitsu M3093DG from 1999. it being a SCSI scanner, I naively assumed that there would be a TWAIN driver the mac for it, it being a SCSI scanner.

The Fujitsu site has no drivers for the mac on it. I tried the Mac OS 9 version of VueScan to no avail.

Does anybody know of a generic TWAIN driver that I might use to get this scanner working on a mac?

Ta very much,

aa

Fujitsu opted to not support the Mac for some reason, Internet Archive only shows Windows drivers from the beginning. Driver support for this unit seems to be good otherwise, its got a SANE back end and the OS X version of VueScan claims to support it.

I've been looking into it. I can't decide whether to install Win2K onto an external SATA drive on my PC or install Tiger onto my B&W G4. I sent the makers of VueScan an e-mail and Mr. Hamrick suggested that I try VueScan 9.0.96 on Tiger.
