Free Macintosh Plus x2!

I finaly got the computer I have wanted for a while...

The Macintosh Plus.

Two of them for free. And free shipping! They were shipped from Wisconsin with UPS. 42 pounds in all. One works, I get the flashing disk icon. The other has a dashed vertical line going down the center of the screen. I don't know exactly whats wrong with it. But right now, I really need a Mac Plus keyboard and mouse! So if anyone has a Mac Plus keybaord and mouse they can part with, please let me know. You are welcome to help your self to a few things from Here in excange for a Plus keyboard and/or mouse.

Vertical line problem is one of the most common, and easily fixed, problems. I have detailed instructions and photos in a file that I sent to the UberMod of the 68kmla, but I have no idea how one accesses it here. Let me know if you'd like it, and I can email it to you (it's only a couple of megs).

The first step just involves a simple resoldering of a few connections. Once you've done that, it may work right off the bat. If not, there's a capacitor that often goes south. Between the cap replacement and the resoldering operation, you can get that Plus back up and running for sure!
